I grew up with a mother who has been a makeup artist for almost 20 years. Visiting her at Lancome and prying through her drawers full of makeup were incredibly exciting for a little girl, and I’ve been fortunate in learning how to correctly have fun with makeup. Lipstick has always been a favorite, though I generally stick to nudes and glosses. I’ve recently been experimenting with bolder colors like the ones above.

I’ve always had a thing for black and white. It’s a simple, elegant, and timeless look. There’s simply no way you can go wrong with walking into an event in head-to-toe neutrals, and I also love it when someone wears black and white with an unexpected pop of color. I would love to own some of the items I featured above, such as the Jeffrey Campbells (which have been on my wish list for a long time) and the structured Asos Bowler bag. And the Essie polish is to die for – it has highly textured matte glitter and hints of rainbow holographics! So awesome.
